Data privacy

We are pleased about your interest in our Facebook page, “Inxmail Lead Ads Integration” for Facebook and our company Inxmail. The protection of your personal data in their collection, processing and use during your visit to this portal is an important concern for us. We, as Inxmail, have taken technical and organisational measures to ensure that the rules on data protection are respected by both us and external service providers. We would like to inform you about the nature, scope and purpose of the collection and use of your personal data, as well as on how the data is processed and used to such extent as is possible for us.

1. General notes

This page is hosted on facebook.com. For understandable and well-known reasons, we cannot conclusively explain and describe which data Facebook collects, processes and uses during your visit. Nor do we know in detail which data are collected, processed and used in connection with the “Facebook Insights” audience analysis. For more information, see the Facebook privacy policy at http://de-de.facebook.com/policy.php

2. Inxmail Lead Ads Integration

The Facebook app “Inxmail Lead Ads Integration” allows you to generate Facebook leads and automatically transfer them to Inxmail Professional. For this purpose, the app requires access to your public profile and the pages you manage. When you select a page for the app, the name and ID as well as the respective access token of the page are stored in Inxmail. This gives the app access to the leads you generate. These remain at Facebook after the app retrieves them. We cannot conclusively explain which data, apart from the data we mentioned, Facebook collects, processes and uses. For more information, see the Facebook Data Policy (https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy).

3. Collection and processing of data

Personal information is information about your identity. This includes, for example, your name, address, telephone number or email address. In general, you can visit this page without leaving any personal data, e.g. if you only want to know about our products and call up the corresponding pages. The access made to this page and any retrieval of a file stored on the homepage are logged within Facebook. In this case too, we cannot conclusively explain which data Facebook collects, processes and uses. For more information, see the Facebook Data Policy (https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy). When you use the Inxmail Lead Ads Integration, however, we will require your name and address, as well as other information (see above), so that we can provide the desired services. You can object to the use of your data by Inxmail at any time. This can be done by sending an email to datenschutz@inxmail.de. Of course, you are free not to provide the above information. In such a case, however, Inxmail GmbH will not always be able to provide you with the desired products, services or information.

4. Purpose, use and sharing of personal data

If you provide us with personal data, we will only use such data to answer your inquiries and to process service requests (orders and their processing, participation in prize draws, etc.) with regard to advertising measures in order to give you access to certain Information or offers or use of information and communication systems as well as for the purposes mandated in law. We will collect, process and use the personal data you have made available to us online only for the purposes communicated to you. Your personal data will only be passed on to third parties or otherwise shared if this is necessary for the purpose of carrying out the activities referred to under 2, paragraph 1, for example, when service providers are engaged by Inxmail GmbH or if you have consented to this in advance. Such third parties may not use the data for other purposes. Of course, we will understand if you do not want to share your personal data with us to support our customer relationship (especially for direct marketing or market research purposes). We disclose personal information about customers if we are legally obliged to do so or if we are obliged to do so by a court decision or if the sharing of such information is required to enforce or protect our General Terms and Conditions or other agreements. This applies accordingly to the storage of the data. The data are not disclosed for business purposes. Our employees and the service providers directly commissioned by us are obligated by us to maintain secrecy and to comply with the provisions of the German Federal Data Protection Act. Access to personal data by our employees is limited to the employees who need the relevant data to carry out their professional responsibilities.

5. Deletion

Personal data stored in Inxmail is deleted if you revoke your consent to storage, if such data are no longer required to fulfil the purpose of storage, or if their storage is prohibited for other legal reasons, unless statutory storage regulations prevent them from being deleted, in which case the data will be blocked, rather than deleted.

6. Information

Upon written request, we will be happy to provide you with information about your personal data stored in Inxmail. We endeavour to store your personal data in such a way that is not accessible to third parties by taking all of the technical and organisational measures. We cannot guarantee full data security for email communication, which is why we recommend you send personal information via post.

7. Orders

When you place an order with us, your personal data will be sent to us. They are encrypted using SSL encryption so that they do not fall into the wrong hands. This is currently the most common and most secure transmission method on the Internet.
